Frontier Communications' new retail store, VillaSport athletic center open house: Beaverton Today

Hello, readers. Here is today's Beaverton-area update.

Frontier Communications: Frontier Communications hosted a grand opening Aug. 13 for a new retail store in Beaverton. The new store sits at 11870 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

OHSU Data Center: Oregon Health & Science University started operations this summer in a new data center on NW 185th Avenue. The dome-shaped building's design boosts energy efficiency, according to the Portland Business Journal.

VillaSport: Community members can check out Beaverton's VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa at an open house Aug. 16. The club will be open to members following a ribbon cutting ceremony Aug. 18.

Cedar Mill singing group: Attendance for a singing group at the Cedar Mill Community Library is growing. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
