What GPUs are compatible with PCI Express 1.1

I have an old PC with a Radeon HD 5450 2GB GPU which I would like to upgrade. I have an Intel DG35EC motherboard which I think has a PCI Express V.1.1 x16 slot, although I'm not 100% sure. I was wondering if there are any GPUs available now which will be compatible and will have a better performance that my current GPU?

I want something which isn't too expensive and will be able to run relatively basic games, even if it's at low graphical settings.

Wouldn't using PCIe 1.1 bottleneck the performance of the newer GPUs?

My power supply unit is a casecom ATX 500W. And im not looking to spend a lot, just so it can run some standard games, which looking at my specs it should really run already, around £40-50 max.

Radeon R7 250 is the best performance in your budget range. It has better performance than the GeForce GT 730 / GeForce GT 640.
