Uruguay Wind Project to Get $42 Million Inter-American Loan

Cobra Ingenieria Uruguay SA will receive a loan for as much as $42.2 million from the Inter-American Development Bank to finance a wind project in the southern part of that nation.

The Kiyu wind farm will have a capacity of 48.6 megawatts, the bank said in an Oct. 16 statement on its website. Vestas Wind Systems A/S turbines for the project are scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter, the company said Oct. 1.
