The only thing that is constant is change, and that's especially true for the New York City skyline. Within the next 15 years, current architectural marvels like 1 World Trade Center and the glistening blue One57 will look tiny compared to the upcoming slate of skyscrapers that will tower over them.

In a rendering posted on real estate blog New York Yimby, the city's landscape will be dotted with even taller skyscrapers that will forever change how it looks. For example, 1 WTC will no longer be the biggest building, because those honors will go to the Nordstrom Tower. Soaring 1,795 feet in the air, it will become the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.

As the picture shows, the Nordstrom Tower won't be alone on 57th Street. Also coming soon is 432 Park Avenue, at 85 floors high, and 111 West 57th Street, which will be 80 floors. Then there's the centerpiece skyscraper of Hudson Yards in Midtown West and One Vanderbilt near Times Square, both of which will be tall enough to secure their place in the record books.
