DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police are looking for a man who attempted to steal articles of clothing from the Dollar Store at 1431 Wayne Avenue.
The robbery happened on Friday, June 26.
According to police the man walked into the store empty-handed but tried to leave carrying bags of clothing he didn’t pay for.
When the man was approached by a clerk he claimed he was there to return the items. He then left in a purple Pontiac Grand Am.
