Domino's Pizza to hire 30

Domino's Pizza locations throughout Escambia County will have a hiring event 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Northwestern Mutual's offices, 108. S. Palafox St., Suite 600, Pensacola.

The stores are hiring for 30 positions, including delivery drivers, customer service representatives, assistant managers and general managers in Pensacola and Cantonment, according to a news release.

"From the moment I started making deliveries, I instantly fell in love with the company," said Jeff May, Pensacola and Cantonment Domino's Pizza franchise owner, who started as a delivery driver and now owns seven stores throughout Escambia County.

"Domino's Pizza has delivered, to me and my family, the dream of now owning and operating my own business. The company truly provides a fantastic opportunity to those who show initiative and a desire to advance."

More than 90 percent of Domino's U.S. franchise owners begin their career as delivery drivers or pizza makers, the release said.

The success of Domino's nationwide, and specifically the growth and success of stores in Escambia County, increases the need for additional support from enthusiastic employees, the release said.
