InterOil Starts Drilling Antelope-5 Appraisal Well - Quick Facts

InterOil Corp. (IOC) Tuesday said it has started drilling the Antelope-5 appraisal well in Petroleum Retention License 15 in the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea.

Antelope-5 is about 1.8 kilometers from Antelope-3 and will appraise the western extent of the Elk-Antelope field.

The firm said it would keep the market informed of material developments.

The U.S. Commerce Department is preparing to fund $6.1 billion to US chip maker Micron Technology Inc. as part of the Government's plan to boost domestic semiconductor production, Bloomberg reported citing people familiar with the matter. During a meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Jakarta on Wednesday, Cook said the iPhone maker will look into the feasibility of local manufacturing. Both of them discussed possible investment in the country, among other matters.
