CTAM Canada is pleased to announce the Board of Directors for 2024 for the Canadian Chapter of CTAM. During a meeting held in December 2024 of the newly elected board, the various committee chairperson assignments were determined and the executive positions were voted upon.
In the recent elections, the CTAM Canada membership re-elected Gary Pelletier from Accedo, Drew Robinson from Shaw Media and Leslie Fields from AMC Networks to continue on the board for another 2 year term. First-time board members John Fulton from Shaw Communications and Shawn Praskey from Corus Entertainment were also elected to two year terms.
Additional board members who are completing the second of their two year terms are Valerie Heroux from Videotron, Anne Lavigueur from Cogeco, Lisa Purdy from BBC Kids, Andy Garrett from Eastlink, Leanne Shearer from Bell Media, Maria Hale from Corus, Jennifer Salmon from CCSA, Jeff Taylor from DHX Media and Cassey Tan from LG.
The executive committee for 2024 is composed of Gary Pelletier who will serve as President for the second of his two year term, Drew Robinson as Vice-President, Jennifer Salmon as Secretary and Jeff Taylor as Treasurer.
“Our organization had an exceptional year in 2024 with record membership numbers and many new successful events and activities. Each volunteer board member worked very hard to deliver these exciting projects for the benefit of the membership,” stated Gary Pelletier, President of CTAM Canada. “I expect that we will continue to expand the scope and visibility of CTAM Canada in 2024. I welcome the new board members Shawn and John who are certain to contribute fresh, new strategies and tactics to help us achieve our goals.”
