Today — in Toronto, Mark Wiseman, president and CEO of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, delivers the keynote address at the Toronto Region Board of Trade’s annual dinner and Brookfield Canada Office Properties releases fourth-quarter and year-end results after markets close.

Tuesday — in Montreal, grocery and pharmacy chain Metro Inc. holds a first-quarter conference call and Canadian National Railway discusses fourth-quarter and year-end results. In Waterloo, Ont., OpenText Corp. releases second-quarter results. In Washington, the U.S. Commerce Department releases durable goods for December and new home sales for December.

Wednesday — in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the labour force survey year-end review, 2014. In Toronto, investment company AGF Management Ltd. holds a conference call to discuss fourth-quarter and year-end results.

Thursday — in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the payroll employment, earnings and hours figures for November. In Toronto, Rogers Communications holds a fourth-quarter results conference call. In Saskatoon, Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. is expected to release its fourth-quarter results before markets open. In Calgary, Canadian Oil Sands expected to release fourth-quarter results.

Friday — in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the gross domestic product by industry for November. In Washington, U.S. Commerce Department releases fourth-quarter gross domestic product.
