BroadSoft Buys Leonid Systems

Software company BroadSoft Inc (BSFT) on Monday announced it has acquired Leonid Systems Inc. The deal is expected to contribute about $3 million in incremental revenue in 2015 and be approximately neutral on a 2015 non-GAAP earnings per share basis.

BroadSoft said the deal significantly enhances Unified Communications service management and the delivery of a superior user experience for telecommunications service providers that leverage the BroadWorks platform.

Leonid, a hosted Voice over Internet Protocol OSS provider based in Falls Church, VA, has developed a purpose-built, intuitive web portal for BroadWorks service provider customers that allows enterprise IT administrators and end-users to simplify the configuration and management of their BroadWorks-based hosted Unified Communications services.
