Boys/Girls Club get Buffalo Wild Wings' grant

The Indian Creek unit of the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka announced Tuesday it had received a $3,000 grant from Buffalo Wild Wings to support its All Stars cheering program.

Katie Doty, the club’s youth development leader and the cheer team coach, said 30 youngsters participate in the program and practice nightly from Monday through Thursday.

The grant is one of 285 awarded this year to Boys and Girls Clubs across America as part of Buffalo Wild Wings’ “Team Up for Kids” program that encourages physical fitness and good sportsmanship.
