Mary Jo Brummer, of RE/MAX Realty Affiliates, was ranked as the top Realtor in Nevada for "Closed Transactions for 2014." This is the first year Brummer has been recognized for this achievement. Brummer has been working in the real estate industry for more than 18 years and has extensive experience in residential sales, new home sales, distressed properties and commercial sales. Among her list of achievements are: RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement, Chairman's Club, Hall of Fame and Platinum Club Awards. Brummer sells virtually all categories of real estate throughout Washoe, Carson, Douglas and Lyon counties. John Castaldi of Castaldi & Associates is offering training programs to small and medium sized businesses in the Northern Nevada and San Francisco Bay areas. Castaldi & Associates focuses on job-related skill development. As former head of employee development for a division of a large high-tech organization, Castaldi adapts training to the needs of managers and staff in a range of industries. Recently, he was selected by MHI Global as a senior facilitator for its customer experience programs. He has conducted training throughout the US, and in eight other countries. He provides training on presentation skills, customer service and management basics. He also conducts workshops in selling and negotiating skills.

Jason Crawford, MD, MPH, has been appointed as the chief medical officer for Community Health Alliance. In 2007, Crawford started as a family physician and medical director of the St. Mary's Nell J. Redfield Health Centers in Reno. In July 2012, the St. Mary's Mission Outreach Programs and Health Access Washoe County merged to form Community Health Alliance, and Crawford continued to serve as medical director for those health centers. As CMO, Crawford will focus on implementing the Patient-Centered Medical Home model at the CHA Nell J. Redfield Health Centers at Sun Valley and Neil Road. Crawford also will focus on integrating behavioral health, clinical pharmacy care and nutritional services into our health centers as well as implementing the area's first integrated adult chronic care center for CHA patients with complex health care needs. He also will assist in efforts to collaborate with local partners in health care, public health and health care education.

Chris Fiumara has been named vice president and general manager of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe. Fiumara's announcement comes after last month's departure of Don Marrandino who oversaw the construction and opening phases of the property, which opened Jan. 28. Fiumara has more than 27 years of experience in the resort and gaming industry, including the past 18 years in several senior-level operational and development positions at Station Casinos. He has held leadership positions including: director of operations development, director of marketing at Green Valley Ranch and vice president and general manager at various Station properties, most recently serving as the vice president and general manager of Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

• PK Electrical Inc. has announced the addition of drafter Matt Gelineau to the staff. He has been in AEC industry for four years. Gelineau is finishing his associate's degree from Sanford-Brown College in building information modeling.

• RE/MAX Premier Properties Commercial Division has announced Riley Harrison and Bill Weishuhn's sale completion of the seven-unit, 30,000-square-foot industrial complex at 995 Greg St. in Sparks. Harrison and Weishuhn represented the buyer, GS Properties LLC, in this transaction. The seller was represented by Tomi Jo Lynch of Sperry Van Ness.

• RE/MAX Premier Properties Commercial Division has announced Fred Jayet and Kevin Sigstad's sale completion of property at 110 Woodland Avenue in Reno. Jayet and Sigstad represented the seller, Consolidated Cadatulators, a Nevada limited partnership, in the 94,170-square-foot building transaction.

• RE/MAX Premier Properties Commercial Division has announced Fred Jayet's retail space lease completion at 855 E. Fourth St., suite J, in Reno. Jayet represented the landlord, Fourth Street Commercial LLC, in the 1,508-square-foot lease transaction. Rico Colta, dba Rico's House of Fades, is the new tenant.

• Stark & Associates Commercial Real Estate/TCN Worldwide has announce Ken Stark's lease completion at 1575 Delucchi Lane, suite 111 in Reno. Stark represented the tenant, Poggemeyer Design Group Inc., in its office lease of 1,200 square feet.
