Ivy Tech offers new round of production training

GOSHEN — Ivy Tech Community College in Goshen, in a partnership with local manufacturers, will be offering another round of RV production associate training courses.

The 40-hour, one-week class features hands-on training and other key skills to "jump-start a career in the recreational vehicle industry," according to Ivy Tech. The program is being supported by Lippert Components, Patrick Industries Inc. and Thor Industries.

The class costs $50 and after successfully completing it, students will receive a preferred interview with one of the three sponsoring companies. There are five week-long courses planned.
