A local heavy equipment rental company is supporting the Canadian troops in a unique way.
Heavy Iron Inc. has camouflaged a 2012 Caterpillar dozer and put it in to their equipment rental fleet.
The business will donate $1,000 a month for every month it is rented and all donations will go to Wounded Warriors Canada.
Eric Kveps, Heavy Iron Inc. President, tells City News, they plan to keep donating for as long as possible.
“We hope to add a piece or two a year with any luck, and who knows in ten years we might have a fleet of these things going and generating you know, it could be millions,” he said.
Eric Kveps is also challenging other clients to match Heavy Iron’s donations.
