The teenager facing 15 years in a Bali prison over the 'body in a suitcase' murder of her mother today revealed she's worried her baby is losing her hair - because she is drinking too much Coca Cola.

Heather Mack, 19, fears that her junk food diet is harming her baby Stella Schaefer's health while behind bars in Denpasar District Court she told MailOnline before her latest court appearance this morning.

The Chicago teen is facing up to 15 years in prison for the murder of her socialite mother Sheila Von Wiese-Mack in a plush Bali hotel last August before stuffing her body in a suitcase, together with her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer.

In an exclusive video she is seen nursing Stella, wearing a pink floral dress, before telling the four-week-old infant: 'You're bald, I swear!

'Mommy needs to eat more healthy No more Coca Cola.'

After handing her child through the cell door and to a minder, she told MailOnline: 'Stella is losing her hair, seriously.

'Maybe it's the food, maybe it's the Coke - all the Indonesians think I'm crazy for drinking Coke, maybe they're onto something.'

When asked if it might be linked the stress, she adds: 'Stress? I'm stressed.'

Judges will decide on Thursday whether Miss Mack should serve 15 years in prison for the murder of her mother.

It is not the first time questions about Miss Mack's unhealthy habits have been asked, after she was photographed smoking while pregnant with Stella.

MailOnline exclusively revealed last week how Miss Mack could be given her own cell in the Keobokan Jailm rather than share with up to 10 other women like other prisoners are forced to do, after a visit from a government minister, who promised extra comforts for the baby's welfare.

The official also offered her the chance to place her baby with a local family to care for the child, but Miss Mack said she had not decided – and says Stella is the only thing keeping her going.

'It's not a good place for my baby. I want her to grow up being happy,' she said.

In a separate video, Miss Mack is filmed as she leaves a prison truck and walks to a cell. She says she is 'stressed' in prison, adding that the government official who visited her behind bars was 'nice'

'Right now it's Stella who is giving me some purpose.'

'For as long as she is with me, I'm able to cope. But it's not easy,'

The teenager added: 'Stella is all I have with me all the time to keep away the depression in that prison,' in a reference to the island's Kerobokan Jail.

'It's terrible in there - it's not a place for me or my baby, but Stella is helping me to get through it.'

Stella, who was born in a prison hospital by caesarean section on March 17, automatically became a joint Indonesian-US citizen.

The baby - named after Miss Mack's grandmother - will stay with her mother behind bars for two years, before she is taken away.

In the latest video, Miss Mack is also seen complaining about how she is being treated - claiming that a medical appointment was called off because the clinician 'took the day off' and calling him 'doctor stupid'.

'I'm not going to get to the hospital. I don't understand what is so goddamn hard', she said.

'I'm under the jurisdiction of Bali and that fat f**k doesn't want to send me to the f*****g hospital.

'And now it's going to be all over the news – now I'm never going to get out of jail.'

Miss Mack is waiting to hear whether judges confirm her 15-year sentence after she was charged with the premeditated murder of her mother. The decision is expected on Thursday.

She had denied the pre-meditated murder of the Chicago socialite in the five-star St Regis Hotel, Bali.

The body of Sheila Von Wiese-Mack was found crammed into a suitcase and loaded into a taxi with Miss Mack and her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer's other luggage in August.

The couple had ran away from the hotel through the beachside exit of the premises.

Schaefer, aged 21 and the father of baby Stella who carries his surname, was also charged with premeditated murder.

He denied the charge but admitted killing the 62-year-old, saying he was acting in self-defence after she had grabbed him by the throat.

Judges on the holiday island, under Indonesia's legal system, accepted the Prosecution's argument of guilt before the defence team had offered their reasons for leniency.

Lawyers have now asked the judges to sentence Schaefer to 18 years in jail and Miss Mack to 15 years.
