Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories announced the launch of Fexofenadine HCl and Pseudoephedrine HCl Extended Release Tablets, the generic version of Chattem’s Allegra-D 12 Hour.

Allegra-D 12 Hour is a combination of fexofenadine, an antihistamine, and pseudoephedrine, a sympathomimetic indicated for the management of seasonal allergic rhinitis with nasal congestion. Fexofenadine HCl inhibits antigen-induced bronchospasm and histamine release. Pseudoephedrine HCl exerts a decongestant action on the nasal mucosa.

Fexofenadine HCl and Pseudoephedrine HCl Extended Release Tablets are available over-the-counter (OTC) as 60mg/120mg tablets in 20-count blisters.
