Halo: Spartan Strike' And 'Halo: Spartan Assault' Now On IOS

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has released Halo: Spartan Strike and Halo: Spartan Assault, the spin-offs of its blockbuster shooting game, for iOS devices.

Both the new Halo: Spartan Strike and the older Halo: Spartan Assault are now available for iOS devices on the App Store, and is priced at $5.99 each or $9.99 as a bundle.

Microsoft also launched Halo: Spartan Strike on Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Steam as a digital download for $5.99.

Microsoft initially intended to launch Spartan Strike exclusively for Windows and Windows Phone; however, the company has launched the delayed game on iOS, Steam, Windows, and Windows Phone. The company has not given any hint whether it will release an Android or Amazon Kindle version of the game.

In the latest Halo: Spartan Strike, gamers play as a Spartan super-soldier that starts during the events of Halo 2 on New Mombasa in 2552.
