WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Real estate investment trust Senior Housing Properties Trust (SNH) said its normalized funds from operations, or Normalized FFO, for the third quarter rose to $78.8 million from $74.8 million, while Normalized FFO per share slid to $0.42 from $0.43 a year ago.
Ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report $0.43 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For the quarter, net income was $38.1 million or $0.20 per share, higher than last year's $25.6 million or $0.15 per share.
Quarterly revenues totaled $187.26 million, higher than last year's $156.10 million. Six analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $189.32 million for the quarter.
