Auto shares rode firm in the morning session on the BSE on Thursday. At 10.49 am Tata Motors was the top gainer on the bourse, trading at Rs 481.40. This was a gain of 2.07 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 471.65.
Hero MotoCorp advanced 0.97 per cent to trade at Rs 2,630.20. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 2,605.05.
ITC gained 0.82 per cent to quote at Rs 320.35. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 317.75.
Infosys spurted 0.68 per cent to trade at Rs 1,982.50. The scrip closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 1,969.05.
Reliance Industries was up 0.68 per cent at Rs 893 as against Rs 886.95 at close yesterday.
