One team will head to MetLife on Dec. 5 and the other will be sent home.

At 7 p.m. this evening, St. Peter's Prep and Bergen Catholic will face off in the Non-Public, Group 4 semifinals with a trip to the state championship on the line. The winner of tonight's game will face the winner of Don Bosco Prep/Paramus Catholic on Dec. 5 for all of the marbles. The Paladins and the Ironmen face off at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The game between the Marauders and the Crusaders will be the 11th time the two teams have faced off in the postseason. According to Bergen Catholic Sports Information Director Dan Long, the all-time series is knotted up at 5-5. The last time the two teams faced off in the playoffs was in 2011. The Crusaders came out on top of that semifinals game 42-21.

However, the two teams met earlier this year and St. Peter's Prep, led by the play of Notre Dame commit Brandon Wimbush and Alabama commit Minkah Fitzpatrick, dominated Bergen Catholic in a 49-20 victory.

Can the Crusaders knock off the No. 1 team in the state, or will the Marauders head to the title game for the second-straight season? We’ll find out later tonight.
