SeaWorld Orlando Park President Terry Prather is becoming SeaWorld Entertainment’s senior vice president of operations in a series of management changes announced Friday afternoon.

Prather’s position is a newly created one.

Daniel B. Brown will become the company’s Chief Parks Operations Officer, having operational oversight over all of the company’s theme parks. Brown had been COO of SeaWorld parks.

Donald W. Mills will replace Prather. He will oversee SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica. Mills had been COO of SeaWorld Entertaiment’s Busch Gardens and Sesame Place parks.

Prather will have oversight of safety, environmental, ride operations and standardization functions across the company’s parks. He will also work closely with the company’s zoological operations.

Prather has led SeaWorld Orlando’s park operations since 2010.
