THE Kellogg’s Factory in Trafford Park is giving apprentices the chance to earn £30k salary from the age of 21.
The firm is encouraging Trafford youngsters to apply for its new five year apprenticeship scheme, which aims to find factory directors of the future.
Kellogg’s want to find six ‘enthusiastic, switched-on people’ for the course, which was developed in conjunction with Trafford College.
A 16-year-old who begins their apprenticeship in September and impresses bosses over the five years could be hired on a salary of around £30,000 at the age of 21.
Manchester factory director Tony O’Brien said: “The Kellogg’s Manchester Factory is more than 75 years old, but we’re still building for the future by investing in new people and training them better than ever.
“The skills our apprentices will learn in the five years they’re here will put them in a very valuable position as they continue in their career.”
The scheme is open to individuals aged 16 and above, with recruitment for the September 2015 intake closing on March 6.
