Russian gas pipeline systems operator Oao Gazprom (OGZPF.PK,OGZPY.PK,GAZP) Thursday said nine-month profit attributable to owners of the company declined to 556.25 billion Russian rubles from 858.77 billion rubles reported in the previous year.
Operating profit was 998.60 billion rubles, compared to 1.183 trillion rubles last year.
Sales climbed to 4.007 trillion rubles from 3.773 trillion rubles in the previous year.
Operating expenses increased 16 percent from last year, amid higher charge for impairment provisions.
