Walleye Weekend 2015 has announced the All New Hearts to Heroes Charity Motorcycle Ride Saturday, June 13. The theme for this year's ride is "Ride for a Ride" with proceeds benefiting the American Legion Riders, the nation's largest wartime veterans service organization. Sponsors of the ride include: Mercury Marine, Bergstrom Toyota Scion of Oshkosh, Open Road Harley-Davidson, J.T.L. Repair and Salute The Troops.

The event will kick off at Open Road Harley-Davidson at 11 a.m. with registration and a pre-party featuring live music, raffles and food. The ride leaves at 3 p.m. for a scenic ride through southeast Fond du Lac County. Participants will arrive at Walleye Weekend between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m., where riders will parade into the grounds for VIP parking. There will be time for camaraderie with fellow riders, visiting with ride sponsors and enjoying the music of Rooftop Jumpers. From 7:45 to 10 p.m. Hairball, a rock 'n' roll tribute band, will entertain guests with music that pays homage to some of the biggest arena acts around. Fireworks will conclude the evening at 10 p.m., sponsored by Glacier Hills Credit Union.

Rick Patton, director of veterans services for Fond du Lac County, said the funds raised will benefit the American Legion Riders and will be used to purchase a new van.
