The 29-year-old was arrested in Bishop's Castle in connection with cases of robbery and theft in Poland.

She has been arrested as part of Operation Trivium, which has seen raids and stings across the region since Monday as police from 14 countries converged on Birmingham's Edgbaston control centre to work with British forces this week.

Officers have been targeting the roads with thousands of cars stopped and hundred of arrests made since the start of the operation on Monday.

Kieren Bodhill, for West Mercia Police, said: "

Warrants have been issued by the European countries involved. She will now be taken to the City of Westminster Magistrates Court for an extradition hearing.

"If they decide to grant it, she will be sent back to face charges in Poland. West Mercia Police assisted in finding her."

Today is the last day of Operation Trivium, which has involved senior police officers from 14 countries.
