Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) Dropped To Over A 3-Month Low On Weak Q1 Profit

Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) reported first quarter EPS of $0.25 after the bell Monday, down from $0.26 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.30.

Urban Outfitters gapped open sharply lower Tuesday and declined during the first half hour of trade, before settling into a range. The stock closed down by 6.11 at $34.61 on the highest volume of the year. Urban Outfitters sank to a 3 1/2 month low and dropped below its 200-day moving average.
