While Apple fans are making ancient versions of Mac OS run on anything they can get their hands on, Android nerds are parking up a different tree. Behold Android-powered graphing calculator.

That Josh Max managed to get Android running on a Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX is pretty impressive; the CX has rock-bottom specs as far as modern Android devices are concerned. It has just 100MB of storage, 64MB of RAM, and a 320x240 screen. As such, the version of Android Max got running on it is old, 1.6 Donut from back in 2009. It's a far cry from the Android we know today.

Still, it's an impressive feat and one that you can try to replicate if you have the hardware and the know-how. It's kind of a wonder these things aren't all running Android by now, anyway.
