GameStop Black Friday Deals Are All About The Bundles

facebooktwitterreddit

One of the few stores not opening on Thanksgiving Day, GameStop nonetheless has several interesting Black Friday gaming deals for the days after. Select locations open at midnight on Black Friday, and the remaining stores will open at 5am. Most of their deals run the entire weekend, not just the morning of, though if you don’t get there early you will likely miss the best of them.

The highlights, as always, are their console bundles, one for each next gen console. For those clamoring for the Xbox One, you can pick up the console bundled with Assassin’s Creed Unity and Black Flag for $329.99, or $429.99 with the Kinect. GameStop is also offering $30 off a year’s Xbox Live subscription when you purchase any Xbox system, not just that bundle. PS4’s bundle includes the console, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Last of Us: Remastered for $399.99. A 32 GB Wii U is bundled at GameStop with Super Mario 3D World and NintendoLand for $299.99.

The ad isn’t posted on their website yet, though it leaked earlier this week and you can view full scans here. There’s tons of deals on lesser-known titles and pre-owned games, but I’ll cover the highlights of the current gen games below:

PS4

  • Destiny is $10 off, dropped down to $49.99
  • Shadow of Mordor is $30 off, down to $29.99…considering its great reviews, that’s a heck of a deal
  • Watch Dogs is $15 off, priced now at $44.99
  • Madden 15, Alien: Isolation, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition are all $20 off

Xbox One

  • $30 off The Evil Within and several other games
  • $20 off Madden 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15, Thief, and Fantasia: Music Evolved
  • $10 off all four DLCs (as a bundle) for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  • 30% off Assassin’s Creed: Unity DLC
  • Destiny is $10 off for Xbox One as well, but it looks like it’s only if you purchase the expansion pass

Xbox 360

  • Of all the last-gen consoles, the 360 has the most interesting deals at GameStop, including a system bundle with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Black Ops 2 for 199.99
  • $30 off Madden 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15
  • $20 off Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition, and Titanfall
  • $15 off Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, and Diablo III
  • $10 off Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

PC

  • World of Warcraft is 4.99 to purchase the game itself (down from $19.99), including all expansions up to Mists of Pandaria. You still have to pay for game time and the most recent expansion separately.
  • $20 off Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Diablo III, and The Sims 4

GameStop is also offering all pre-owned games and accessories for a buy 2, get one free deal, as well as having lots of cheap pre-owned last-gen systems and games. If you’ve been waiting to get a next gen console and were planning to get any of the games in those bundles, this might be a good time to do it.
