Bentonville, Ark. – Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s evp and chief merchandiser, Duncan Mac Naughton, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Various news sources today reported the announcement, which was made in a company memo that was provided to the media. In it, Walmart U.S. president and ceo Greg Foran states he has opted not to replace Mac Naughton for now. In the meantime, other team members report to Foran.
The news comes as the all-important holiday selling season gets underway.
