Lake County >> Home Depot Foundation (HDF) has awarded Habitat for Humanity Lake County (HHLC) further funding for their military veteran’s home repair program. Richard Birk, HHLC president, met with HDF Director Heather Pritchard (middle) and Joe Wimberley in Atlanta, Georgia, to discuss the particulars of the grant.

Birk stated, “We are honored to have received these funds on behalf of all military veterans in our community and are very grateful for the generosity of Home Depot for their support.” This is the third grant HHLC has received from the HDF Veterans Home Repair Initiative. These funds will be used for the critical needs of the veteran client’s home repairs related to health and safety issues.

For those veterans interested in the program, contact HHLC without delay, as there is a very short time period to complete the work on this grant. For more detail call the HHLC office at 994-1100.
