Our client, a world leading professional practice firm, is currently growing its insurance business and as a result is looking to hire a number of Assistant Manger to Manager level individuals in their London offices. Although the role will have a focus on external audit responsibilities, the team also covers internal audit advisory and insurance specific projects.

The Assistant Manager/manager - Insurance will be responsible for:
-Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales
-Planning and monitoring budgets on engagements.
-Assisting in development of junior colleagues
-Help manage or lead the management of audit and advisory projects
-Continue to develop own knowledge and profession skills in audit and advisory
-Contribute to internal training
-Participate in proposals and sales and marketing activity

As such, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
-ACA, ACCA, CA, ICAS or equivalent certification
-Commercial awareness of current economic and market trends
-Knowledge or awareness of developments in insurance regulation
-Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP or US GAAP
-An ability to develop strong client relationships
-Highly proficient in written and oral communication
-Aptitude with MS Word, Excel and Project
