Chibok schoolgirls fighting for Boko Haram, slitting throats of captives?

Lagos: Shocking revelations about the abducted Chibok schoolgirls have been made by women held captive by militant group Boko Haram who reportedly claimed that they are now 'brainwashed' by the militants.

In an exclusive interview with BBC's Panorama programme, the women have claimed that the Chibok schoolgirls are carrying out punishments on behalf of Boko Haram.

The Chibok schoolgirls were seen carrying arms, flogging young girls who could not recite Quran and even slitting the throat of captive men, they claimed.

The startling revelations have been made by the women staying in the camps where the kidnapped schoolgirls were kept.

While the claims are yet to be verified, it has been earlier reported that some of the kidnapped schoolgirls were trained as a fighter by the Boko Haram militants.

At least 219 schoolgirls were abducted in Chibok by Boko Haram militants from their boarding school in April last year as they were preparing to appear for their final exams.
