The 2015 theme for NAIDOC Week is ‘We all stand on Sacred Ground’.
Mayor Cr Murray Emerson said council recognised the week with a flag raising ceremony on Monday.
“NAIDOC Week acknowledges the importance of the people who work hard to preserve the land and culture so that we can all enjoy what we have around us," Cr Emerson said.
