NKY to host manufacturing, transport job fair

A job fair focusing on manufacturing, transportation and logistics work is scheduled for June 4 at the Center for Advanced Manufacturing at GCTC, 500 Technology Way in Florence.

The event, which places an emphasis on hiring veterans, runs from noon to 4 p.m.

More than 30 businesses will participate, including UPS, Xerox, Kroger, Tyson Foods and the Boone County school district.

The job fair, hosted by the Kentucky Career Center, Gateway Community and Technical College, Hero2Hired and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, is free and open to the public.

Job seekers should bring a copy of their resume and dress appropriately for an interview.
