Syracuse, N.Y. -- Louisville basketball players were perplexed.

When they walked into their Carrier Dome dressing room Friday night, they spied a neat battery of Axe hygiene products lining the top shelf of their lockers.

They could avail themselves of a body wash, shampoo/conditioner combo and choose from two varieties of deodorant. Louisville reserve players Anas Mahmoud, Shaqquan Aaron and David Levitch said they were surprised to see the NCAA gifts and had no idea where they came from. Their lockers were bereft of bounty in Seattle, their previous NCAA Tournament site.

Across the locker room, Terry Rozier was asked about his Axe options.

"Oh, I'm keeping them," he said. "It's free."

Unilever, which makes Axe products, is an NCAA "corporate partner."
