Kaman negotiating aircraft upgrades with General Dynamics

Bloomfield aerospace manufacturer Kaman Corp. said it is negotiating with General Dynamics Canada to remanufacture and upgrade five aircraft for the Peruvian Navy.

The South American country’s military is purchasing four Kaman SH-2G Seasprite helicopters. Kaman said it would also support the operation of a fifth aircraft for Peru, if a deal is reached.

The company said it could not disclose further information about the talks.
