Salman Khan has leant his support to PM Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat campaign.

The actor accepted Modi's invitation for the 'Clean India Campaign' and was photographed cleaning the streets with a broom.

Sharing the images on Facebook he wrote: "I nominate the following for Swachh Bharat campaign and request them to further nominate 9 more people. First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter.

"Each one of us can make a difference. And I nominate Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma, Rajinikanth & Vineet Jain."

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, was launched recently in Rajpath, where prime minister Narendra Modi administered an oath urging everyone to help keep India clean.

After the event, Aamir Khan said he would be glad to be a brand ambassador for the Clean India campaign.
