Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Names Ingrid J. Vaughan Vice President, Manufacturing Operations for its Electronic Systems Sector


LINTHICUM, Md. – May 6, 2015 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has appointed Ingrid J. Vaughan vice president of manufacturing operations for the company's Linthicum-based Electronic Systems sector, effective immediately.

In this position, Vaughan will have executive responsibility for manufacturing capability, capacity, processes and tools for the sector. She will lead the Electronic Systems manufacturing operations homeroom to assure synergy across the operations involved in the production, integration, test and delivery of the sector's systems and products. She reports to Nicholas Paraskevopoulos, vice president and general manager of Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics.

Vaughan joined the company in 1985 and has held a number of leadership positions in program management, engineering and manufacturing. She was previously director of manufacturing for combat and defensive systems product cells and, subsequently, deputy program director for Cobra Judy. Most recently, she served as program director for the G/ATOR (Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar) program.

Vaughan earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in administrative science from Johns Hopkins University. She has also completed the General Managers Program at Harvard Business School.
