Memphis, Tenn. – Fred’s Stores evp, cfo and coo Jerry Shore has been named the company’s new ceo. The retailer said it expects to fill the vacant position of president and coo soon.
Current ceo Bruce Efird plans to exit the company when his contract ends.
Along with the elevation of Shore, Fred’s promoted vp and controller Sherri Tagg to chief accounting officer.
