Two of Rochester Hills’ newest businesses will have ribbon-cutting ceremonies in the coming days.

The Rochester Tap Room is set to host the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, however a grand opening is not scheduled until March 12, according to the restaurant’s website. SEE PHOTOS FROM THE RIBBON CUTTING.

The restaurant, located at 6870 North Rochester Road, is expected to be home to the most craft beers on draft in the county.

The tap room will include selections from nearby Rochester Mills Beer Company as well as Birmingham’s Griffin Claw Brewing Company.

Rochester Tap Room replaces the former Luca’s Chop House. Visit rochestertap.com for more information.

Across town, a Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop, which became the city’s second location of the popular coffee franchise in late-December, will officially open Friday, March 6.

The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce will be on hand at 12:30 p.m. to make it official.

The new location will bring approximately 15 new full- and part-time jobs, owners said in a press release.

The store is located at 2258 Crooks Road on the city’s south side. It opened in late-December and replaces a Bank of America branch which was demolished last fall.
