Chemical Financial Corp. announces 2015 Q2 cash dividend

MIDLAND, MI -- Chemical Financial Corp. officials recently announced that the corporation's board of directors declared a second quarter 2015 cash dividend of 24 cents a share on its common stock. The stock was trading at $30.24 a share on Friday, May 22. It trades on the NASDAQ under the symbol CHFC.

The second quarter 2015 dividend is payable Friday, June 19, to shareholders of record on Friday, June 5, according to a Chemical Financial Corp. news release. The ex-dividend date is Wednesday, June 3.

Chemical Financial Corp. is the second-largest banking company headquartered and operating branch offices in Michigan. It operates through a single subsidiary bank, Chemical Bank, with 183 banking offices in 47 counties in Michigan.

In April, the corporation completed its previously announced acquisition of Monarch Community Bancorp Inc.

As of March 31, the corporation had total assets of $7.6 billion.
