"We are beyond excited for the winner of this extraordinary jackpot! Congratulations to the winner, and to share this event with ARIA is truly a pleasure."

LAS VEGAS, March 19, 2015 - Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) ("Scientific Games" or "the Company") heated up the Lunar New Year when its Bally interstate wide-area progressive slot link hit for the first time February 20, awarding the lucky player a life-changing $3.3 million jackpot.

The winner, a Massachusetts resident who wishes to remain anonymous, was playing the one-cent denomination Hot Shot Progressive video slot for about an hour when it hit at about 3:45 p.m. PT at ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The slot machine paid a total of $3,331,684.47.

This is the third-largest jackpot in the 83-year history of the Bally brand. Bally's largest jackpot - $3,683,932.96 - hit in 2009 at the Casino Royale in Las Vegas.

This jackpot win comes after Bally connected its Cash Connection link across Nevada and New Jersey on Aug. 20, 2014, creating the potential for larger awards that offer more excitement for players and drive play for operators. The combined link started with an accumulated top jackpot of $2,206,417.70 and continued to grow until it hit February 20, exactly six months later.

The launch of the multi-state link came after gaming regulators in Nevada and New Jersey passed regulations allowing slot jackpots to be linked across state lines.

Dean Ehrlich, Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Operations, said, "We are beyond excited for the winner of this extraordinary jackpot! Congratulations to the winner, and to share this event with ARIA is truly a pleasure."

Hot Shot Progressive is an awe-inspiring double-wheel configuration of the popular brand featured on a 42-inch vertical display sitting atop a 22-inch high-definition screen. The game features popular play mechanics, touch-activated interaction, progressives, and free games.

This is the second Bally jackpot to hit in February. A $1.5 million jackpot hit on the Bally 1,000,000 Degrees slot link at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison in Wisconsin on February 11.
