Honda Motor announces new president & CEO
TOKYO (PR): Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (“Honda Motor”) has announced that Takahiro Hachigo, currently the company’s managing officer, will become senior managing officer effective in April 2015, and will become President, chief executive officer and representative director in late June 2015. Takanobu Ito, the current president, chief operating officer and representative director, will remain on the board and assume the post of director and advisor to Honda Motor. This management succession will occur following the final decision of the Honda Motor Board of Directors after the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting, scheduled for late June 2015.

3G offers on Samsung Galaxy

Standard Chartered event

Zong acknowledges  customers
ISLAMABAD (PR): Zong, Pakistan’s No.1 and only 3G + 4G operator has extended its warm acknowledgements to its valued customers for wholeheartedly supporting the ongoing verification drive.
Cellular service subscribers across the country have come out of their way to re-verify their SIM’s to ensure that SIM’s are actually in their use and not being used for any unlawful activities. As per NADRA statistics, a total of 57.6 million SIMs have been re-verified. Meanwhile, a total of 10 million SIMs have been effectively blocked. This has been possible owing to the cooperation of valued customers who have responded responsibly by showing up in great numbers to get their SIMs verified.
Zong is hopeful that the telecom sector, the government and the general public will continue to work together to address and overcome this issue of grave national security.

Khushhalibank, Mobicash ink agreement
Lahore (Staff Reporter): Mobicash, the fastest growing mobile financial service provider and an initiative of Mobilink and Waseela Microfinance Bank Limited, signed an agreement with Khushhalibanklimited, one of the leading microfinance institutions of the country, in order to provide payment facilitation services to the unbanked and under banked markets in Pakistan. The signing ceremony was attended by Aniqa Afzal Sandhu, Director Mobile Financial Services, Mobicash, Ghazanfar Azzam, President, Waseela Microfinance Bank Limited and Ghalib Nishtar, President, Khushhalibanklimited.
In Pakistan, the conventional banking sector serves less than 20% of the population.
 It is with this in mind that Mobilink developed Mobicash, a mobile financial services platform, to provide basic banking services to the masses through retail agents. This partnering will expand Khushhalibanklimited’s network, allowing rural areas to make payments with ease and regularity.

Educational trip to LCCI
LAHORE (PR): Students’ Council Office in collaboration with UCP Business School organised an educational tour of Lahore Chamber of Commerce for the students of Business Connection under the supervision of Ms Shumaila Jabbar, Associate Lecturer UCP Business School.
Mian Nauman Kabir, SVP LCCI, Syed Mehmood Ghaznavi, VP LCCI, Shahid Khalil, Secretary General LCCI, Moin-ud-Din Siddqiui, Additional Secretary LCCI, Muhammad Anis, HOD IT Department LCCI, Mazhar Elahi, HOD R&D Department LCCI had interactive session with students regarding the operations, departments and activities of LCCI. Students were taken to the IT & Research Departments and Auditorium for brief presentation about the operations of LCCI. Souvenirs were exchanged and it was acknowledged that such activity will help to bridge the gap between academics and industry.
