Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of an iconic 24,000-square-foot multitenant office property in Ridgewood, Brian Hosey, regional manager of the firm’s New Jersey office, announced Wednesday. The Lincoln Building, according to Hosey, sold for $3.9 million.

David E. Thurston, vice president investments in the firm’s New Jersey office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a partnership. He also secured the buyer, a local limited liability company.

“It was a real pleasure to work with our clients, their lawyers and the bank to reach closing,” Thurston said in a prepared statement.  “ … The opportunity solicited multiple bidders and the winning buyer was chosen for their understanding of the asset and their willingness to roll up their sleeves to do the extensive due diligence required to move the property toward closing.”

Bruce Whitaker of Ramsey-based McDonnel Whitaker represented the seller, and Michael Ochs of Hasbrouck Heights-based Bertone Piccini represented the buyer.
