Media reports began to circulate after the close Friday that the discussions between Hasbro (HAS) and DreamWorks Animation (DWA) have cooled due to issues over the structure of a combined company.
DreamWorks Animation gapped open sharply lower Monday morning and is now down 3.84 at $22.18. The stock has dropped below its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
Meanwhile, Hasbro gapped open higher this morning and is now up 3.12 at $57.14 in early trade.
