Oshkosh police seeking stabbing witnesses

OSHKOSH - Police are looking for three people who may have witnessed a stabbing over the weekend.Between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday, two people were walking in the area of the 400 block of W. Lincoln Ave. Someone went up to them and tried to take a cellphone. One of the victims was stabbed in the attack. After a chase, a second person was stabbed. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.Police say three men were close to one of the victims when he was attacked and those men spoke with the stabber before the attack. Detectives would like to speak to these witnesses.Meanwhile, police say they have found a man who was walking with another man who attacked a pair of oncoming men Sunday night on N. McKinley St. The attacker was arrested. The second man was not involved in the attack, police say, and is cooperating with the investigation.Police are also investigating a robbery Thursday at 751 Wisconsin St.Anyone with information is asked to call Det.
