Treasury appointments, November 1

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Aboitiz Equity Ventures: Maria Lourdes Y Tanate will be appointed assistant vice-president of audit at the Philippines-based company on November 2. She holds a bachelor degree in economics and a master of business administration from the University of the Philippines. She also holds a master in engineering and technology management from University of Queensland.

CCM Group: The Singapore-based building construction company announced the appointment of its financial controller, Soo Koh Wah, as acting chief financial officer on October 27. He assumed the responsibilities of Chong Chee Seng who was appointed CFO in May but passed away recently. The company is currently searching for a permanent replacement.

Lihua International: Daphne Yan Huang was appointed CFO of the China-based alternative copper products manufacturer on October 23. She replaced Yang Yu who was appointed executive vice-president of finance. Huang joined the company in October 2009 as executive vice-president of corporate finance and director of investor relations from GE Capital Markets where she was a vice-president in the debt capital markets group for six years.

Roxas Holdings: The Philippines-based raw and refined sugar producer will appoint its CFO, Sindulfo L Sumagang, treasurer and vice-president on December 1 to replace Asuncion S Aguilar who will resign on the same day. The company is currently searching for Sumagang’s replacement.
