HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – Huntsville is one of six cities with a large number of service-related job openings at CarMax, America's biggest used car retailer.
The Virginia-based company is hiring workers for more than 1,000 full- and part-time positions across the country. The Huntsville store on 6364 University Drive N.W. is accepting applications for automotive technicians/mechanical associates, business office workers, buyer assistants, sales consultants, sales managers and more.
Other cities with a large number of openings include Sacramento and Bakersfield, Calif., Cincinnati, Ohio, Atlanta and Lancaster, Penn.
The positions are permanent and available in day or evening shifts. CarMax, which runs 139 stores in 70 markets, says it offers health insurance, paid time off, disability and retirement for its full-time employees.
