In trading on Thursday, biotechnology shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.1%. Leading the group were shares of Amicus Therapeutics (FOLD), up about 33.7% and shares of Biotime (BTX) up about 16.3% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are drugs shares, up on the day by about 1.6% as a group, led by Coronado Biosciences (CNDO), trading up by about 40.4% and Vascular Biogenics (VBLT), trading higher by about 16.6% on Thursday.
