Police: Past Assault Investigation, Threats to Kill Reported and Hazardous Materials Spill

Monday, Jan. 19

At 4:44 p.m., motor vehicle accident with property damage on Bridge Street and Somerset Avenue. Two vehicles involved.

At 5:32 p.m., deer struck on Cabot Street. Deer ran into the woods. Minor front-end damage.

At 6:56 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Cabot Street.

At 7:52 p.m., hazardous material, Cabot Street. Water and heating oil being pumped out of the basement of the former Servis Cleaners. Beverly Fire Department notified; called out a hazardous materials crew to clean up the hazardous materials. Materials were pouring into a storm drain.

Tuesday, Jan. 20

At 8:59 a.m., threats to kill reported on Bridge Street.

At 10:34 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Lothrop Street. Written warning issued for impeded operation of a motor vehicle.

At 10:49 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Dodge Street. Verbal given for red light violation.

At 10:58 a.m., past assault investigated on Sohier Road. Assault was brought to officer’s attention during an investigation of threats to Beverly Housing Authority personnel.
